The predecessor of Veritas Global Protection was founded by Elijah Norton in 2011 with just two employees and a vision to disrupt and innovate an industry that our founder saw as being stale and lacking good service and innovative solutions.

With this philosophy in mind, over the years, we have grown from our humble beginnings into a company that employs over 100 people and generates over 250.000.000 USD (more than 4.5 billion ZAR) per year in annual premiums. We have paid millions in claims and have serviced hundreds of thousands of customers across the world. Veritas and its affiliates and subsidiaries have offices in South Africa, Canada, the United States, Europe, and Chile.

The key factor that has fueled our rapid growth is our constant drive to innovate and create new and innovative plans and solutions for our customers and clients. It is this commitment and drive that has earned Veritas some of the largest dealer groups and agencies in the world as partners.

Our unparalleled commitment to innovation, as well as customer, dealer, and agent service, is what has given our partners the confidence to continue to sell our products and expand their partnerships with us.

In 2020, we embarked on an aggressive global expansion effort that continues to this day – expanding from our original market of the United States, into Canada and South America. In 2024, Veritas acquired the largest shareholding position in WAGAS SA, which is one of the largest TPA’s of extended warranties and F&I insurance products in the European Union.

And, in 2025, Veritas entered into the South African marketplace. Our presence in South African brings our global expertise, Veritas values, and new, innovative solutions to what we believe is an underserved market.
